A private vehicle is a nicety rather than a necessity in
Singapore, with plentiful housing within walking distance from the
campus and an
internal shuttle bus operating within NTU.
Getting from one point to another in Singapore is not just easy, it
is also economical. One of the most extensive and efficient public
transportation networks in the world, it offers taxis, buses and
the modern island-wide Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) subway.
Getting to the NTU campus on arrival in Singapore
A 40-minute cab journey to NTU will cost approximately S$30.00
(midnight surcharges apply). Should you choose to take the MRT
system, the Changi Airport MRT station is located outside the
Arrival Hall in Terminal 2. Alight at Boon Lay MRT Station and take
bus service number 179 or 199 to NTU. The total fare for the entire
2 hour journey is approximately S$3.50.
