Course Focus:
This module provides an opportunity to review
existing HR strategies and develop new HR strategies to achieve
better organizational performance in an increasingly competitive,
challenging, and complex environment. Using the
transformational-transactional HR framework as a starting point,
participants will develop critical strategic leadership capabilities
such as matrix thinking and polarity management in dealing with the
tensions and trade-offs that lie at the core of hospitality HR. HR
must deliver engaged employees and administrative efficiency to the
organization, and at the same time, HR must also develop improved
capabilities for strategic execution and rapid organizational
change. How will these new capabilities be acquired and developed?
