Title: Project Management for the Hospitality Industry

Singapore (January 11-13, 2010)

Course Focus:

The Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Egypt, the sequencing of Human Genome, the development of the International Space Station, and the development of the Palm Jumeirah islands – each of these examples illustrate human accomplishments in many different fields. Yet, that have something in common – they are all examples of extremely successful projects. A Project can be defined as a non-standard set of inter-related activities necessary to achieve established goals using a specified amount of time, budget and resources.
