Course Focus:
This course will examine the ways in which human
capital and the HR function can be used to enhance firm
competitiveness. We will focus on the strategic planning process and
how various HR policies and programs associated with high
performance work systems can transform the human capital base to
improve efficiency, quality, and innovation. A number of applied
learning opportunities will be used to gain an understanding of the
most effective methods for increasing the value of the HR function. |
