| Pelly is Assistant Dean (Business) and Associate
Professor in IT Management at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang
Technological University. Before joining the School in 1998, he was
Programme Director and Head of the IT Management Group in the
Institute of Systems Science (ISS), National University of
Singapore. His career spans more than 35 years as an
academic/consultant and IT executive/professional in Singapore and
Malaysia. Pelly’s professional and research interests are in
strategic IT planning & architecture, e-Commerce and e-Government.
He has published in international IT journals and presented in
local, regional and international IT conferences. He consults
regularly for both private and public sectors in Singapore and the
region – the list of current and past clients includes organizations
such as IDA, MOF, SIA, OCBC, SGH, Vista Health from Singapore, and
Intan (Malaysia), UMW (Malaysia), ADB (Japan), the Mauritius
Government and the Islamabad Council of World Affairs (Pakistan). He
is a senior member of the Singapore Computer Society was an Exco
Member of the Society up till March 2006. Education
