In Asia since 1991, Lisa Watson is an expert
business strategist, innovative thinker and marketing specialist
with over 20 years of agency, consulting and academic experience.
She founded Ibis Intelligence Services in 2001 to help clients
improve their returns on marketing investment (ROMI) by developing
their data, intelligence and marketing skills and strategies. Ibis
clients include Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, American Express,
Standard Chartered Bank, Edmund Optics, Readers Digest, Avaya and
Remark Insurance.One of her key assignments was as a Senior
Director at Oracle Corporation Asia Pacific (2003 – 2005) where she
developed a strategic framework for successful implementation of
technology and applications as part of the CRM Applications team.
Her advertising and CRM agency experience includes Leo Burnett,
Young & Rubicam, Wunderman and Ogilvy.
Ms Watson is an active advocate of the Direct Marketing industry
having served as Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association of
Singapore since 2002 and been a member of the Operating Committee of
the International Council of the U.S. Direct Marketing
Association from 2004 to 2007. She has served as a founder and
co-chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee for AmCham
Singapore since 2006 and is a regular trainer and conference speaker
on four continents.
Ms Watson's consulting experience spans industries and
geographies having worked with many companies in industries
including Automotive (BMW, Chrysler, Mercedes Benz); Financial
Services (ABN AMRO Bank, AIU Insurance, Nippon Life); FMCG (P&G,
Watson's Water, Yakult); Hospitality / Tourism (Hong Kong Trade
Development Council, Hotel Conrad, Le Meridien Hotels, Regent
Hotels, Singapore Tourism Board); Media (Economist, STAR TV, MEASAT/Astro);
Pharmaceuticals (Nestle, Wyeth); abd Technology / Telco (Apple,
AT&T, Digital, HP, Intel, Lucent Technologies, Microsoft, Oracle,
SingTel, Xerox), to name a few.
She graduated from Lawrence University with an honors degree in
