Italy"My name is Barbara Dondossola, sales executive in Six Continents Hotel Support Corporate and Business Level Agency. I am working in the sales department of the hotel chain and in charge for Italian customers and they stay at hotels all over the world. Then there are 3,200 properties all over the world. This is my third week at Cornell and it's a really great experience, I'm taking Certification in Advanced Marketing and I've attended some courses in economics and financial, and this week in strategic hospitality management. I think it's really a great experience because you have the opportunity to learn a lot of things and to compare my experience with other person working in the same area of my job. And then we can compare your experiences, your ideas. The accommodation is really nice because you have the opportunity of meeting everybody in the common area and then continue speaking and exchange opinion. Also, outside the classroom and then meeting other people that are not attending or taking the same courses as you and then that increase your skills." |
