Singapore"Hi, my name is Cindy, I'm from the InterContinental Hotels Group. Because I'm very new to this industry, so actually I wanted to learn to think in a mindset of someone from a hospitality industry. So when this course came about, I though it was very just-in-time for me, 'cause I'm doing strategic planning as well. So actually I joined the course and well, it was a very good experience because it gives me a lot of different views and points in which you can think about strategic planning in this industry, and a lot of examples to illustrate how we do it. And the exercises in the class were also very great, hands-on experience for me, and I think one good thing is that you get to interact with peoples from all the different functions, and different hotels and different geographical areas. So it actually brings about a lot of rich examples that we can discuss and it's really more real life examples that you can see, than well, you're just confined in your own organization. The people who attended the lesson are all very interactive, they are very vocal, they share their experiences. Overall it was a very enriching experience for me and I think I learnt a lot that I can bring back to apply in my day-to-day work. Thank You." |
