Myanmar"I'm Jehan Wickremesooriya. I come from Sri Lanka and I work at the Kandawgyi Palace hotel in Myanmar. My visit to Cornell is purely with the idea of improving from what I know to what I should know. To get to know about Cornell was one of my colleagues who worked in a hotel in Rangoon who also recommended the program. So when I corresponded with Cornell, I got the details and I saw the program of strategic marketing which I am right now participating, would be interesting. So coming in to the United States for the first time of my life and excited about Cornell. Heard so much about the property, the school. I was quite impressed the way how the entire correspondence of my curriculum was handled. I met the professor who started the course which was very well presented. Which in my career life of nineteen years, I think it was a shining of a gem stone. I come from an uncut gem stone product so coming in to Cornell, I think I have managed to get the experience and to polish my future endeavors with a studying of the curriculum right now in Cornell. I will be returning to Cornell next year to attend the General Managers course." |
